Department of Medical-Legal Partnership (DMLP)

The department of medical-Legal partnership was established on Sunday, April 15, 2024 with the aim of supporting the health care system in Uganda particularly the vulnerable people in the community to handle with high levels of expertise the social determinants of health, and to protect the rights of healthcare professionals, patients and other stakeholders involved in healthcare.

At the department of medical-Legal partnerships we understand that patients may have challenges in accessing quality education, health care services, economic stability, challenges in the society and community, neighborhood and built environment which in  return affect the health of people in  the community.

We encourage health professions to refer patients to us , and  all patients who are unhappy  to come and talk about their challenges with us expert legal representatives so that they can fight for their rights.
